Symptoms
A Drop Ship Purchase Order Cannot be received
ERROR
rvtptcontrol failed – Receiving Transaction failed because the status of this drop-ship transaction’s backing Sales Order Line is non-updateable.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to PO Super User -> Receipts ->
2. Enter the PO Number ->
3. Select the record checkbox and Click on Save to receive the PO.
4. Error message is received: "rvtptcontrol failed – Receiving Transaction failed because the status of this drop-ship transaction’s backing Sales Order Line is non-updateable
