R12.2.5 Error When Trying To Assign A Confirmation 'Required' Task

Unable to Change the task Status from 'In Planning' to "Assigned" Status when the Task Confirmation from Customer Set to "Required".The below is the error message when trying to flip the Task Status from 'In Planning' to 'Assigned' Status.

Error : Task Status Cannot be changed until customer confirmation is required.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Field Service Manager
2. Use assisted scheduler to change task status
