 E-Business Suite R12 Integrated SOA Gateway, Installation issues

 

 

Attempting to integrate systems via a web service with the following documents:

<Note 1073001.1> - Integrated SOA Gateway (ISG) Invoking an External Web Service using the Service Invocation Framework (SIF) From a Workflow Process (Doc ID 1073001.1)
<Note 741783.1> - How To Call External Web Service in R12 Using Java Rule Function "oracle.apps.fnd.wf.bes.WebServiceInvokerSubscription" (Doc ID 741783.1)

However attempts to call the web service fail with the below error in the WF Java Deferred Agent Listener log:

[fnd.wf.bes.WebServiceInvokerSubscription.onBusinessEvent()]:Unexpected exception when invoking service - oracle.apps.fnd.wf.bes.InvokerException:
HTTP transport error: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: java.security.PrivilegedActionException: javax.xml.soap.SOAPException: Message send failed: For input string: ""
