Unable to Enroll in Benefits via Employee Self-Service > Benefits

When attempting to enroll in benefits via Employee Self-Service after processing a life event, the following error occurs:

"You may not enroll or change your benefits at this time.

You can only enroll or change your benefits during an enrollment period, such as annual
enrollment, or after a life event, such as marriage, a new child, or relocation."

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Go to responsibility US Super HRMS Manager.

2. Navigate to People > Benefits Service Center and query an eligible employee.

3. Process a life event which will allow for enrollment.

4. Go to responsibility Employee Self-Service and select the Benefits function.

Error occurs.
