Questions regarding Certificates and HTTP so that ITM(EBS) interfaces with GTM (Doc ID 2267856.1)

Goal

Questions regarding Certificates and HTTP so that ITM interfaces with GTM:

1) The Order Management Implementation Manual only shows the below in regards to Certificates in the 'International Trade Management Partner Integration' section.
It doesn't say what certificate and where to place it and if there are any specific naming conventions to be followed.

" .....If the protocol is HTTPS:
  In Certificate Name, enter the certificate name.
  In Certificate Store, enter the certificate storage location.
  In Certificate Password, enter the certificate password.
................."

Can development please provide more details on this?


2) In our integration testing environments, GTM is setup secured (i.e. HTTPS) but our interface/protocol for HTTP is also working. Is that by design?
