Very Small Earnings and 100% 401K Deduction. Some Amounts Paid Are Deducted Correctly with Taxes and 401K. Some Amounts Have the 401K Deduction Only. Then Another Amount Will End in Error for the Payroll Run (Doc ID 2268237.1)

Symptoms

Have an employee with a very small earnings and 100% 401K deduction. Some amounts paid are then deducted correctly with taxes and 401K. Some amounts have the 401K deduction only. Then another amount will send the payroll in error

STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Statement of Earnings
21-MAR-2017
Employee has 100% Bonus 401k so payroll should take taxes and the rest as 401k   When amount is 12.34, or above, it process correctly.

2. Profit Sharing 12.34
FIT Withheld       .40
Medicare Withheld  .18
SS Withheld       .77
SIT Withheld (IL)   .06
Union Dues           .18
Union Savings 401K Bonus   10.75
NET PAY    0.00

3. Statement of Earnings
21-MAR-2017

Employee has 100% Bonus 401k so payroll should take taxes  with the rest as 401k When amount is 12.17, or below, it sends taxes to arrears and continues processing

4. Employee has 100% Bonus 401k so payroll should take taxes and the rest as 401k  When amount is between 12.18 and 12.33 the quick pay finishes with an error.
