Information in this document applies to any platform.

In the images below and/or the attached document, user details / company name / address / email / telephone number represent a fictitious sample (based upon made up data used in the Oracle Demo Vision instance).
Any similarity to actual persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental and not intended in any manner.

The purpose of this note is to show the steps required to set up a supplier scheduling testcase and to demonstrate some of the different possible data scenarios and the resulting impact on the schedule generated.

The testcases have been set up with 3 different items in such a way that each item testcase builds on the previous testcase to show the effect on the schedule of different combinations of data. The following testcases are described in this document :

1 - Testcase for item SS_ITEM_A shows supplier schedules being built for an item with approved blanket releases only

2 - Testcase for item SS_ITEM_B shows supplier schedules being built for the same blanket releases as well as an ASCP plan for manual demand

3 - Testcase for item SS_ITEM_C shows supplier schedules being built for the blanket releases, ASCP plan as well as manually created approved requisitions

In this way each testcase represents an incremental modification to the data being used to generate the supplier schedule and the impact of this change can be seen directly in the schedule generated.

Note that all schedules in this document are built manually. The autoschedule program provides the same functionality and will show the same results.
