Japan iStore Carts Showing Incorrect Net Price When Qty > 1 (Doc ID 2271263.1)

Last updated on MARCH 31, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle iStore - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On Test: 12.1.3 version, Shopping Cart Related

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
Net Price shown in Config item details page is wrong when item qty is > 1.
iStore is multiplying qty with unit price first then applying discount %.

For example:

If item's list price = $5,421
Net price after 50% discount = $2,710
No issue for qty = 1.

However, if qty = 10, then iStore shows Net price as $5,421 X 10 = 5,4210 X 0.05 = $27,105
Applies 50% discount on top of total list price.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
iStore should apply discount on total selling price of each line.
if qty = 10, then Net price as $5,421 X 0.5 = 2,710 X 10 = 27,100

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Login to iStore
2. Configure a Model item
3. Make sure at least one item in the model qualifies for a 50% discount
4. Update qty of the model from 1 to 10
5. Recalculate price of the cart
6. Click Model details to see individual lines
7. Check item price where discount was applied
