Signature On A Field Service Report Does Not Save On Internet Explorer

On : 12.2.5 Debrief / Field Service Report
The signature is not saved on the Field service debrief report when using Internet explorer (IE) 10 or 11 .
The signature does save correctly when using Firefox or chrome browsers.
When saving the users sees the message 'Signature Updated Successfully' but the signature does not actually save.
You cannot view the signature afterwards.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1) Enter debrief on task
2) Click on Task report
3) Click on sign in Task report
4) Sign the pdf and save it
5) Download the PDF.
6) Not able to see the signature over PDF copy.
