Depot Repair: Logistics Lines Status Gets Stuck In 'Entered' Status (Doc ID 2272342.1)

Last updated on SEPTEMBER 02, 2020

Applies to:

Oracle Depot Repair - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Logistics lines status gets stuck in Entered status.

When the Logistics lines are created, the status does not get updated from Entered to Booked.
The associated sales order line is in Awaiting Shipping status.

We try refreshing Logistics button and ran Depot Repair Shipment Update but nothing happens. This is inconsistent.
The same issue we see when we enter Service Order with quantity greater than 1 and use capture serial number.

Workaround:

None. The entire line gets grayed out, and no Action is possible.

Expected Behavior:

The lines should be moved to 'Booked' status.

Steps:

1. Create Service Order (SO) with 3 quantities.
2. The SO gets created in Draft status.
3. Go to Tools and select Capture Serial Numbers
4. Process the records
5. 3 Service Orders get created

Logistics:

 Line 1 => Return: SAC =  Return...; Order # nnnnnnnnn - Status = Booked
 Line 2 => Ship  : SAC =  Ship...  ; Order # nnnnnnnnn - Status = Entered
------------------------------------------------------

The Ship logistics line is in Entered status and has a line number also assigned.
However, the status does not get updated.
None of the lines can be updated.
