Manually Adjusted Transaction Lines Show Incorrect Transaction Amounts for Non-Functional Currency Transactions (Doc ID 2272459.1)

Last updated on MARCH 04, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Incentive Compensation - Version 12.2.4 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

You have collected transactions into Incentive Compensation that have the transactional currency as 'USD' and a different Functional Currency, i.e., JPY, EUR, SGD, etc.  Then after manually adjusting the collected lines, the new lines created show incorrect transaction amounts.

Once the currency has been converted to the functional currency, for example JPY, it should remain JPY.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  collect transactions with currency code of USD and exchange rate of 114
  2.  load the transactions and the currency is converted to JPY which is the functional currency
  3.  manually adjust a transaction and when loaded, the currency is again multiplied by the exchange rate
