"Failed to compile JSP" Error When a Default Cost Type is Set for a New Invoice Line Item (Doc ID 2274217.1)

Symptoms

When you change the New Invoice Line Item screen to default the Cost Type to 'Accessorial' an error occurs when creating a new Invoice Line Item:

Setup:

1. Create a new Manager Layout by copying public Invoice Manager Layout
The only change made is on the Detail tab, customize Line Item section to default to Cost Type of Accessorial
2. Create a Screenset by copying the public Invoice Screenset
3. Create a Menu and assign the new Screenset.  

Replicate:

2. Select the new Menu 
3. Select New
4. Enter a Service Provider 
5. Navigate to Line Item tab
6. Select New Line Item
7. Receive error
