Transactions Imported With Incorrect Date Format

The Transaction data was imported through csv file. While the user saves excel file as csv the date format gets changed. The data format is in dd-mon-yy.
The transactions got imported without error but when the user wants to query in the 'maintain transactions screen' ,it is not showing up as the data can be queried in the screen only in dd-mon-yyyy format
Processed date if you see in commissions interface table , it is 3/1/0017 for 01-mar-2017

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Collect the data in CSV file with date format as dd/mm/yy and save
2. Go to Compensation Manager / Analyst Responsibility
3. Tasks --> Import/Export
4. Click on New Import, select the csv file and Submit
