On : 12.2.4 version,
Recently there has been an error when running the Master GDF Diagnostic (MGD) for single_trx.sql (See <Document 1360390.1>) when using SQL Developer.
This has worked in the past without a problem. However, when running the most recent version in SQL Developer for single_trx.sql, errors are returned.
When running the process the invoice ID only is being entered. This was tried with various different invoices and all get the same result.
The package compiles successfully, no error. The date_range.sql script runs successfully.
ORA-06550: line 3, column 22:
PLS-00103: Encountered the symbol ";" when expecting one of the following:
It is unclear what change caused the sudden appearance of these issues, but it is unlikely to be a change in the MGD version because the error is occurring in the wrapper script (single_trx.sql) not in the MGD itself, and the wrapper script has not changed. More likely some setting in the customers SQL*Developer is impacting how it is processing the SQL*Plus ACCEPT command to obtain the parameter default values when nothing is entered for a particular parameter.
