Cannot See Subinventory/Locator On Define Asset Number Form After Asset Transfer

Symptoms
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
The asset moved successfully from one subinventory to another subinventory within same organization.
Upon querying the transferred asset in the Asset Numbers form, it is found that the subinventory and location fields are blank.
Prior to the asset transfer, the same asset shows subinventory and location as expected. It seems that after the asset transfer happens, the subinventory and locator fields do not display the current location information.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Once the asset is transferred, the subinventory and locator fields should display the current location information.
STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Enterprise Asset Management.
2. Navigation: Assets -> Asset Numbers.
3. Query an asset number.
4. Click on Location tab.
5. Find Subinventory and Locator fields blank.
