Global Blanket (BPA)

Symptoms

Using Global Blanket Agreements (BPA), price on consumption advice is not matching with material transaction price when a blanket purchase order has multiple prices for the same item.

* This is different than the issue described in <Note 2131513.1> where prices were changed after using material. Here the price is correct on the material but not on the generated consumption advise purchase order (PO).

WORKAROUND
Use different lines or new blankets when changing prices.
This works correctly for local agreements that generate releases. This only happens for Global Blankets generating Purchase orders.

WHAT IS WORKING
This works if there are not multiple prices used on the same blanket.
This works correctly for local agreements that generate releases. This only happens for Global Blankets generating Purchase orders.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
Create consumption should create two different PO lines with correct prices. Supplier is invoicing at the consumption price and invoices are going on hold because of price discrepancy.

STEPS
1. Update prices on blanket agreements every quarter.
2. Consume material during this process : some consumption transactions are performed before price update and some consumption transactions after price update.
3. Run create consumption advice.
4. Check PO created :
* See PO with one line, one shipment and two distributions but PO has only one price. (Expected two prices.)

BUSINESS IMPACT
Invoices are going on hold and causing issue with audit process while leasing the holds and causing delays in payments and penalties.
