Performance Issue With Mass Change Function In OM When Changing Ship To (Doc ID 2281598.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading from 11i to R12 observed a Performance issue with Mass Change function in Order Management.

When trying to process orders and trying to update the ship to address on the lines after creating a relationship with the school district, these orders has over 100 lines and it is taking us 8 or more hours to update the shipping address on the lines doing a mass change, and are continually getting timed out or kicked out of Oracle completely and having to start the process over again.
