On : 12.1.3 version, Batches

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR

After applying patches, experiencing performance issue when performing WIP issue transactions in batches. Process does not complete even after 30 minutes.

It was identified following query is the culprit.

SELECT OBJECT_ID FROM ( SELECT LEVEL, OBJECT_ID, PARENT_OBJECT_ID, OBJECT_TYPE, OBJECT_ID2, OBJECT_TYPE2, PARENT_OBJECT_ID2 FROM MTL_OBJECT_GENEALOGY START WITH ( PARENT_OBJECT_ID = :B1 AND ( END_DATE_ACTIVE IS NULL OR END_DATE_ACTIVE > SYSDATE ) ) CONNECT BY NOCYCLE PRIOR OBJECT_ID = PARENT_OBJECT_ID AND ( END_DATE_ACTIVE IS NULL OR END_DATE_ACTIVE > SYSDATE ) AND LEVEL < 45 AND EXISTS ( SELECT 1 FROM MTL_MATERIAL_TRANSACTIONS MMT WHERE MMT.TRANSACTION_ID = ORIGIN_TXN_ID AND MMT.INVENTORY_ITEM_ID = :B2 ) ORDER BY LEVEL DESC ) WHERE ROWNUM = 1
