Purpose

 This note provides a description of termination enhancements introduced in OLFM as of the 12.2.5 Delta 5 release.

Scope

Business Background


Based on the reason driving a contract termination, different areas of the lessor organization create and manage termination quotes. Lessors usually require to restrict some quote reasons to groups of users that have the adequate expertise and authority to create terminations for those reasons.

Customers require the ability to configure security rules to restrict certain group of users from being able to select certain termination quote reasons while creating termination quotes for lease contracts. Termination Quote Reason selection is presented as a dropdown list on Create Termination Quote page with values based on a seeded FND Lookup Type “OKL_QUOTE_REASON”.
