Terminated Employees Processed by Retropay Have Reprocess Date the Same as Their Hire Date Which Causes Retropay to Run a Long Time (Doc ID 2284318.1)

Last updated on AUGUST 10, 2018

Applies to:

Oracle Payroll - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Retropay is taking a very long time to run for some terminated employees.  It is found that the reprocess date calculated by Retro-Notifications Report (Enhanced) is the same as the employee's hire date.  It should only be calculating from the employee's termination date.  Because some employees have been employed for many years, Retropay is taking a very long time to process.

STEPS
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Terminate employee
2. Run Retro-Notifications Report (Enhanced) - PDF
3. Run Retropay (Enhanced)
