Failed to Resolve Incompatibility Between Price Lists Error Duplicate Price List lines While Processing Secondary Price Lists (Doc ID 2286195.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement
When attempting to enter an order line,
the following error occurs.

Error
Failed to resolve incompatibility between price lists (401088-XX)
Duplicate price list lines: ABC PRICE LIST (2009-2014), ABC PRICE LIST (2009-2014).

Note
Loaded the price for about 100 items in a price list using process_price_list API.
Now for about 4 items, receives the duplicate error message while entering order lines.
Note the the error message lists the same price list name in the error message.

Steps to Reproduce
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User (or equivalent)
  2. Navigate to: Orders, Returns > Sales Orders
  3. Enter an order line
