12.2 E-Business Suite Users Are Unable To Open The Login Page Post Upgrade To 12.2 on Windows 2008 R2 Due To Errors 'Unknown Host' And 'Unable to locate the server named "<hostname.domainname.com>" --- the server does not have a DNS Entry.'

E-Business Suite 12.2 Applications DBA,  Post Upgrade related issues


Users are unable to open login page after successfully upgrading to 12.2.6 on Windows, even though script adstrtal.cmd completes successfully and exits with Status 0.

Users report the following error when opening the login page:

Unknown Host

Description: Unable to locate the server named "<hostname.domainname.com>" --- the server does not have a DNS Entry.
Perhaps there is a misspelling in the server name, or the server no longer exists. Double-check the name and try again.



 An Upgrade was recently completed from 12.1.3 to 12.2.
