Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Tax Deducted at Source-Payables
When attempting to save 3rd Party Registration ,
the following error occurs.
JAI_TAX_VALUE_DUP (JAI_VALUE=Tax Regime Name)
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: India GST
2. Path: 3rd Party Registration
The 3rd Party Registration shows error:
JAI_TAX_VALUE_DUP (JAI_VALUE=Tax Regime Name)
3. For example:
Created 3rd Party Registration for one supplier.
It was found that there was a mistake in GST registration.
So, end dated and saved it.
Tried to create a new one.
Surprisingly, it is picking GST/TAN detail from previous line instead of allowing
to input a fresh GST/TAN Registration number.
Also, while saving that new transaction it shows error of Duplicate entry.
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot save the record.
