Last updated on OCTOBER 05, 2018

Applies to:

Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

Finding payments by Remit-To-Account in the Payments Workbench fails with the following error:

FRM-40502: ORACLE error: Unable to read list of values.

When the Remit-To-Account list of values (LOV) is executed, the error raises.

The LOV query SELECT executed in the production environment, via SQL*Plus, returns 5+ millions rows.

The following SELECT returns 5+ millions rows

Even if the a supplier number is entered in the find window trying to restrict the search for only one supplier, the Remit-To-Account LOV fails with the above error.

In the test environment and in Oracle Support Internal instances, which contains a smaller set of data, the LOV works.

Steps To Reproduce:

  1. Log into the application using Payablers responsibility.
  2. Navigate to the Payments Workbench:  (N) Payments > Entry
  3. Click on the "Find" icon to Find Payments
  4. In the Find window click on the LOV "Remit To Account" (to find a payment by the account).
  5. The error occurs.
