BEE Batch Process Jobs Stuck in Paused Status When Batches are Run with Multiple Threads (Doc ID 2289404.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When "BEE Batch Process" is executed in bulk and with multiple threads, requests completed with the following status, even though batch line status is T (Transferred) or V (Validated).
The issue occurs intermittently.

Parent process: BEE Batch Process
  Phase=Running
  Status=Paused

Child Process: Payroll Worker Process
  Phase=Completed
  Status=Standby

Batch Header Status: P (Processing)
Batch Line Status: V (Validated) or T (Transferred)

 

Steps to Reproduce:

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

  1.  Set Payroll Action Parameter "THREADS" larger than 1. (e.g. THREADS=50)
  2.  Process batches in bulk.
     (N) Mass Information eXchange: MIX > BEE Summary
     > Search for batches
     > Click on "Select All" button to process multiple batches at the same time.
     > Click on "Process" button and select validate or transfer.
  3.  BEE Batch Process request stuck in the Paused status.



Changes

For R12.1, apply patch (e.g. R12.HR_PF.B.delta.10, delta.11) that includes Conflicts Resolution Manager code afpcrm.oc 120.7.12010000.11 or 120.7.12010000.12.
For R12.2, apply patch (e.g. R12.HR_PF.C.delta.11, delta.12) that includes Conflicts Resolution Manager code afpcrm.oc 120.13.12020000.5 or 120.13.12020000.6.
