Symptoms

When attempting to test metadata definition, the following error occurs.

jtf_grid.populate package reports errors:

An unexpected error occurred in jtf_grid.populate

grid: <IEXTRMAN_TRX_BALI.TRX_BST>
datasource: <IEX_COLL_TRX_DTL>

The error is most likely in the form or the metadata definition. Please check the following alert for the error code

The error stack is (first 1000 bytes):
ORA-00904: "REFERENCE": invalid identifier
ORA-06512: at "APPS.JTF_GRIDDB", line 837
ORA-06512: at "APPS.JTF_GRIDDB", line 878


Same errors in Navigation: CRM Administrator -> Spread Table -> Meta Data Administration.
Query data source: IEX_COLL_TRX_DTL
The seeded view should be: IEX_TRANSACTIONS_V .
From that screen, click on the Test tab, then the Test button.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Navigate to CRM Administrator Responsibility-> Spreadtable/Meta Data Administration.
2. Search for data source as IEX_COLL_TRX_DTL.
3. Go to Test Tab and press test button to test the definition. Encountered with error.

Due to this issue, users cannot test metadata definition and facing the error in Collection form while using this.
