12.2 E-Business Suite Mobile Application Sever MWA Dispatcher Fails To Start Or Just Hangs On Startup Due To Error 'Telnet Dispatcher Error: could not read config file' After Patch 17459700 (Doc ID 2293788.1)

E-Business Suite 12.2 Mobile Application Server, Oracle Mobile Applications related issues

 

 

Users report the MWA dispatcher fails to start or just hangs when running command 'mwactl.sh start_dispatcher' due to the following errors:


MWA Telnet Server Release: 1.0.8.4 [December 12th 2000]
Telnet Dispatcher Error: could not read config file.
/admin/scripts/mwactl.sh: line 237: 13046 Segmentation fault (core dumped) ${MWA_TOP}/bin/MWADIS

Even after the installation of <Patch 17459700> per <Note 1665801.1> 'MWA Dispatcher Will Not Start In R12.2.3 Error: could not read config file', the dispatcher just hangs at startup with no error.
