Checking the Exempt Checkbox does not Save and Commit (Doc ID 2295050.1)

Symptoms

Problem Statement:

When trying to update the exempt checkbox under on the Person Assignment form using DE legislation, the new setting is not saved in database.


Steps to Reproduce:
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Using DE HRMS Manager
2. Navigate to Person->Enter and Maintain->Query an employee and go to the Assignment form
3. Select the Statutory Information tab and check the exempt checkbox then SAVE
4. Query the same person and notice that the record is not saved.
