R12: Validation Application Accounting Definition Report Showing 95431 Error Due To Invalid Source = Variance Related Invoice Distribution Account (Doc ID 2295846.1)

After applying any patch to get more current XLA code/package, the Validate Application Accounting Definition report is showing the Payments Event Class is invalid and the following error for that invalid:

APP-XLA-95486 Error

The Validation of the application accounting definition has failed.

Error Number Error Text Error Type
  ------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------ -------------------
  95431 The following account derivation rules assigned to the Error
  journal lines definition use sources in their details that
  have not been assigned to the event class. Please remove
  the source from the account derivation rule details, or
  select a different account derivation rule for the journal
  entry line.
