In Oracle Warehouse Management, mobile LPN Ship transaction throws error when there are multiple deliveries on the same trip. The error below is found in the mobile log. The issue is that, despite the error message, shipping documents still get printed, and other indications that ship confirm has completed, when in reality the LPNs are still in a "Loaded to Dock" state and the Delivery Detail lines are actually in a status of "Staged". This issue happens, when there are 2 or more deliveries that are assigned to a trip, one of which was later back ordered, due to no quantity onhand to pick. During LPN Ship, when Continue Ship is pressed, the system tries to close the Trip. The problem is that the backordered delivery is preventing the system from closing the trip, hence it generates the message seen below and leaves the good delivery in a "half ship confirmed" state, as explained above. In release 12.1.3, the system would not generate the message regarding the backordered delivery and would proceed to ship confirm the good delivery.

In 12.2.5, instead, we are seeing the message and the ship confirm is left in a half completed state. We would like to see one of the following solutions implemented:

a. Once the message in the LPN Ship is displayed, do not allow the printing of shipping documents, since the ship confirm was actually not successful.

b. Do not display the message, instead allow LPN Ship to complete the Ship confirm of the good deliveries.

[Tue May 09 10:55:21 CDT 2017] (Thread-18) Error from ConfirmDelivery

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create 2 sales orders with 1 line each. Make sure that one of the sales order lines does not have any onhand.
2. Assign a different delivery each sales order.
3. Assign each delivery to a trip.
4. Run pick release. 1 delivery detail should be successfully pick release, the other should be backordered.
5. For the order line that was successfully pick released, perform mobile picking of the item.
6. Perform LPN Ship for the completed LPN. Press Continue Ship. You should see the documented message.

The issue has the following business impact:
Users are unable to complete and LPN Ship transaction and have to take additional measures, to get the deliveries ship confirmed.
