Symptoms

When trying to upload the items after making making changes to fields that are not under change control,upload process fails with below error

Then have to close the upload window, but there are no error-ed rows to fix in the excel sheet.

ERROR

Upload processing did not complete
Exception during parsing of upload document. java.lang.NullPointerException


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Export required items from advanced search through Development Manager responsibility into Excel
2. Make changes that are not under change control
3. Click on Upload button and see the error as
