Order Against Indefinite Delivery Vehicle (IDV) Can Be Created Outside Award Start and End Dates
Orders that are referencing an IDV can have an effective date that does not fall within the referenced IDV's Award Start and End Date values.
This is allowing users to create orders against an IDV that do not fall within the specified order period. We believe that there used to a be a validation around this, but we are no longer seeing the error.
Want validation to prevent orders from being created that are referencing an IDV where the effective date is not within the referenced IDV's Award Start and End Date values.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Ensure that there is an approve IDV in the system.
2. Create a Delivery Order
3. Reference the IDV on the delivery order using the source document reference field
4. Populate all required information.
5. Ensure that the effective date on the Order does not fall between the Award Start and End Date on the referenced IDV.
6. Validate Document
7. no errors occurred.
