When Attempting End Date An Obsolete Item On A Price List In Purchasing Get ORA-06503 Error (Doc ID 2297274.1)

Symptoms

When attempting to end date the item on the price list line,
upon saving, the following error occurs.

ERROR

ORA-06503: PL/SQL Function returned without value in Package Qp_Validate_pll_pricing_attr Procedure Entity


STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
Item added to parts list
1. Navigate to: Price Lists > Price List Setup
2. Query price list
  Two records are shown for a particular part / item number
  1. Start: 01-JUL-2017 End: 01-JUL-2017 unit price = 1
  2. Start: 02-JUL-2017 End: unit price = 2
3. Navigate to: Inventory > Items > Organization items
4. Query the item and make status = obsolete
5. Attempt to end date the item on price list
6. When committing the record error is raised
  ORA-06503: PL/SQL Function returned without value in Package Qp_Validate_pll_pricing_attr Procedure Entity
