UK PAY_GB_PAYROLL_ACTIONS_PKG.get_report_db_items Procedure Is Returning 0 For The Tax Period (Doc ID 2298081.1)

Last updated on JULY 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle HRMS (UK) - Version 12.1 to 12.2 [Release 12.0 to 12.2]
Information in this document applies to any platform.

After applying Patch 22488143:R12.PAY.C  LEAVERS PAYROLL RUN FOR EMPLOYEES LEAVING BEFORE 05TH OF THE MONTH and using the PAY_GB_PAYROLL_ACTIONS_PKG.get_report_db_items procedure API for our custom payslip process, the procedure is no longer returning the correct values for p_tax_period. It is returning 0 for the tax period, rather than the correct tax period. E.g April 2017 is returning 0 instead of 1. (v_tax_period).

The Oracle procedure’s code can confirm that it is not returning the correct code is due to the “PAY_STATUTORY_PERIOD_NUMBER” database item having changed its where clause in Patch 22488143:R12.PAY.C .

Please clarify if the change was intended or if there is a problem in the code
