Last updated on SEPTEMBER 20, 2017

Applies to:

Oracle E-Business Suite Mobile - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

On : 12.1.3 version, Mobile Applications Foundation

After implementing Enterprise Distribution, downloaded the Mobile Approvals from the internal server.  When attempting to connect to Mobile Approvals for EBS, it generates Error:

"This mobile application is not currently configured on this server"

The issue only occurs for iOS. There are no issues for the Android OS.

When the Oracle Mobile Approvals for E-Business Suite App is downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play Store, it works fine. Users are able to log in and perform approvals.

This same message is shown for the deployed app on both Android and Apple simulator as well as actual devices. We tested on Android Galaxy Note 5 and Apple iPhone 7S.

The is reproduced with the steps:

1. Customer has a Corporate App Store and is generating the App from Oracle E-Business Suite Mobile Application Archive 6.0 as documented in Oracle E-Business Suite Mobile Apps Developer's Guide.

2. Mobile Application Archives that are provided by Oracle at https://edelivery.oracle.com After Deploying the Approvals Archive that was imported from the MAA file to the iOS device,
We enter the URL <Customer URL to App Store> and click Get Started button.

3. The App starts and are able to get to the Login Page on the Mobile Device. After clicking the Get Started button, we get the below error:

Configuration Error
This mobile Application is not currently configured on this server.
Please close the application

JDeveloper log for the iOS Simulator shows:
