User Record Is Not Getting Removed From Pending Approvals on First Approval (Doc ID 2299614.1)

Symptoms

On : 12.2.5 version, User Registration

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------

Record is not getting removed from Pending Approvals. We have to execute Accept step twice to remove record from pending Approval

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect to approve a new user only one time to see it removed from the list of pending approvals.

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Create user:   CRM HTML Administration> > Setup > Users > Registration > User Maintenance > (B) Create
2. Approve user: CRM HTML Administration> > Setup > Users > Registration > Pending approval
3. After first approval, list of pending approvers still shows the same user
4. Approve user again,  now the user is no longer seen pending approval
