Dependent LOV And Upload Does Not Populate And Fails With NullPointerException (Doc ID 2300759.1)

Dependent LOV's for a View in custom webadi template does not populate LOV with data.

Dependent LOVs LOV and Upload fail with NullPointerException when
interface value referred by the dependent LOV is read only/not displayed, even it has a default value.
Default values can be defined at Interface column level or Layout level. Column may be set as non displayed at interface level.
Column may be set as read only or hidden at layout level.

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:

1. Created LOV which will depend on view
2. Access the LOV in template
