Newly Split Order Line Not Assigned To A Ship Set (Doc ID 2302638.1)

Last updated on APRIL 03, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.3 and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
When splitting an order line that is assigned to a ship set, find that the new order line created is not assigned to a new ship set.

EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect newly created split order line to have a ship set assigned if the original order line is in a ship set.

For example:

Line 1.1 is assigned to Ship Set 1.
Split line 1.1 to create line 1.2 which has no Ship Set assigned.

Per Order Output in table OE_SETS (SET):

SET_ID: 37149
SET_NAME: 1
SET_TYPE: SHIP_SET

SET_ID: 40003
SET_NAME: 340012
SET_TYPE: SPLIT

Changes

Prior to Enhancement 9701367, split Lines were not having Ship/Arrival set assigned to them though profile option "OM: Assign New Set For Each Line".  Functionality was not available in release 12.1.3, but only incorporated into release 12.2.5 via Enhancement Request 9701367: SPLIT LINE SHIP SET.
