Unable To Create RMA For Items That Are Not Customer Order Enabled After Upgrade

On : 12.2.6 version, Transaction Entry
After upgrade from 12.1.3 to 12.2.6, user is unable to create return sales orders if the customer
order enabled flag is unchecked. When attempting to create RMA, the following error occurs.
The item specified is invalid or does not exist in the warehouse you specified. Please enter a valid item-warehouse combination.
1. OM Super User responsibility
2. Navigate to Sales Order form
3. Enter a new RMA line
