Last updated on FEBRUARY 15, 2019

Applies to:

Oracle Order Management - Version and later
Oracle Configure to Order - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.
"Delink config item"
"Delink config-item"
OEXOEORD - Sales Order Form
Quick Sales Order Form
OID - Other Item Discount

On : 12.2.5 version, Pricing, Discounting & Charges

Configuation is entered and Modifierwith type "Other Item Discount" (OID) is applied.
The "buy item" for the modifier is on line 1.1.57
The "get item" for the discount are on lines 1.1.6, 1.1.48, 1.1.61
All looks fine.

However, when one de-links the config item from top model, the OID modifier is removed
and the discount is revoked from lines 1.1.48, 1.1.61. Discount is still present on line 1.1.6.

Review of the debug file captured while replicating this issue shows that context is not passed for all lines.
The context values are not passed for line 1.1.57 and line 1.1.6 but is passed for lines 1.1.48 and 1.1.61.
Since the "buy item" context values are not passed (LINE 1.1.57), the modifier is no longer applicable for the order lines that do have data passed.

Issue also occurs when one reconfigures the model on order.
However the issue does not happens to every order.

Expects the OID to remain applied to all lines same as before delinking the config item

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Order Management Super User (or equivalent)
2. Navigate to: Orders, Returns > Sales Orders
3. Enter order
4. Review adjustments that are applied
5. Actions > Delink Config Item
Find an incorrect price and modifier was removed on line 1.1.48, 1.1.61
