Incorrect Asset Type, Category and Date Placed in Service in Mass Additions for Expense Item. (Doc ID 2307226.1)

Goal

"Create Assets: Interface Inventory Transactions to Oracle Assets" program creates Mass Addition records with asset type = Capitalized for expense items (Asset Category has Capitalized = NO).

There are two questions:
1. The records in the Mass additions are entering with the DATE_PLACED_IN_SERVICE with the first day of the month . Why?
2. The asset_type is capitalized in most cases. Why?
