Information in this document applies to any platform.
We have upgraded from 11i to 12.1.3 Apps version. We had some custom forms in 11i which were developed using 6i Form Builder. To make these forms R12 compatible, we have installed 11g Forms Builder(Forms [64 Bit] Version 220.127.116.11.0 (Production)) and made the changes to them.
But when we put the modified form in server and compile we get below error:
"Forms 10.1 (Form Compiler) Version 10.1.2.3.0 (Production)
Forms 10.1 (Form Compiler): Release - Production

Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 18.104.22.168.0 - 64bit Production
With the Partitioning, OLAP, Data Mining and Real Application Testing options
PL/SQL Version 10.1.0.5.0 (Production)
Oracle Procedure Builder V10.1.2.3.0 - Production
Oracle Virtual Graphics System Version 10.1.2.0.0 (Production)
Oracle Multimedia Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)
Oracle Tools Integration Version 10.1.2.0.2 (Production)
Oracle Tools Common Area Version 10.1.2.0.2
Oracle CORE 10.1.0.5.0 Production
FRM-10043: Cannot open file."
We noticed in EBS server, Forms 10.1 compiler has been installed and hence forms which were saved using 11g Form Builder is not getting compiled.
Please let us know if the Form Compiler version can be updated to compile 11g forms. If upgraded, will there be any impact?
