Report Manager In 12.2.6 Problems With FSGs And Excel Templates (Doc ID 2310055.1)

Symptoms

You are migrating from EBS 12.1.3 to EBS 12.2.6

IE 11, Windows 7, Office 2010 are being used.

You have migrated the Excel templates from EBS 12.1.3 to EBS 12.2.6

Profile FRM: Enable OOXML Standard = Yes

You try to run a Report Manager report and choose Excel output format.

A Microsoft Excel window comes up in Excel. It displays an error message like:

The file you are trying to open, 'NON CONS STORE PL's EXCEL.xml is in a different format than specified by the file extension. Verify that the file is not corrupted and is from a trusted source before opening the file. Do you want to open the file now?

Select Yes

You get an error message: Error Page You have encountered an unexpected error. Please contact your System Administrator for assistance.

If they set Profile FRM: Enable OOXML Standard = No

The Excel output file shows just tokens , 1,000.00 in each data field, basically the output is just the template.

There is no problem when the report is run using the Generic FSG Excel template. The report appears with data.
