Online Payslip Search Dates Disappear After Hitting Home Button

Symptoms
On : 12.1 or 12.2, HRMS RUP10 version,
When entering a range of dates in the future, Payslip date range disappears, users can no longer change date range, and the following error occurs.
ERROR

There are no Payslips for the pay period you can view. Please contact the System Administrator or Payroll Manager.
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Begin on Self-Service Payslip screen
2. Using the date range search capability, enter a date range starting in the future after the current pay-date.
3. Click on the Go-button
4. Screen refreshes with the entered date range and the above error message.
5. Click the Home icon to return to the menu
6. Return to the Payslip screen.
7. Attempt to enter date range
