Internal Requisition Is Still In Open Status Though The Internal Requisition Line Has Been Received And Delivered

For a specific customer, following is the issue:
The Internal Requisition is still in open status even though the associated requisition line has been received and delivered.
Customer says both the receipt and delivery are completed for the requisition line.
Steps causing the issue:
1. Create an Internal Requisition.
2. Create Internal Sales Order.
3. Pick Release/Allocate/Transact/Ship Confirm.
4. Run Interface Trip Stop program.
5. Receive the shipment.
Due to this issue, internal requisition does not get closed.
