Performance Issue when Trying to Close the AR Period in the Open/Close Accounting Period Form (Doc ID 2316626.1)

Symptoms

When trying to close an accounting period, the application takes too long and some times it just hangs and never returns control back to the user

Steps to Reproduce:

Responsibility: Receivables Manager
Navigation
: Control > Accounting > Open/Close Periods

  1. Change status of the period to "Closed"
  2. Save

The following SQL statement is the one causing the performance problem:
