WIP Detailed Scheduling Does Not Consider Setup And Changeovers On Routing (Doc ID 2318162.1)

Customer defines Setup and changeover time on Resource, but its duration is not added to wip job operation schedule. What should they do to take setup duration into consideration of wip scheduling?

  1. BOM > Setup Types
    Setup type defined Setup Types (e.g. PREP)
  2. BOM > Resources
    Created "Machine Type" resource (e.g. MACHINE1)
  3. BOM > Resources > Setup
    Associate "PREP" setup to Resource
  4. BOM > Resources > Setup > Changeovers
    Added From:<any> and To:PREP with 1.5 hours Duration
  5. BOM > Department
    Assigned resource MACHINE1 to a department (e.g. TEST)
  6. BOM > Routings
    Create routing with MACHINE1 as a resource, with 1 assigned unit and scheduled = Y and added PREP under Setup on Scheduling page.
  7. Calculated and rolled-up lead times.
  8. Create a discrete discrete Jobs and and save.
  9. On Operation Schedule, changeover time is not considered.
