Symptoms
When attempting to update an invoice, the following error occurs.
APP-SQLAP-10821: Parent Value is not allowed for this segment.
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Responsibility: Oracle Payables
2. Path: Invoices -> Entry -> Invoices
3. Create an invoice and save.
4. Open the global flexfield and try to add an account.
The following error occurs:

Changes
The problem started after applying patch 20986633 R12.JL.C and mapping the accounts with SAT level 1 or 2.
