R12 E-Business Suite Applications Framework Expense Report Auditor Is Unable To Query All Expense Reports After Viewing Report

When auditors managing expense reports try to retrieve all reports after viewing report, the results do not match.

The result set is different when looking at Expense reports via Confirmation Page, vs the Report Number link.

Overall the correct search criteria are not retained, and the intended results are not returned for the query (OAQueryHelper.java).


The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. In Internet Expense Auditor -> Manage Expense Reports, query back subset of reports (i.e. Report Status is Pending System Administrator Action)
2. Click Confirmation Page of one report then Return - result set is as in Step 1
3. Click Report Number of one report then Return - result set is different than in Step 1

The issue is worse if the result set is sorted before viewing the expense report:
1. In Internet Expense Auditor -> Manage Expense Reports, query back subset of reports (i.e. Report Status is Pending System Administrator Action)
2. Sort the subset, click Confirmation Page of one report then Return - result set is as in Step 1 i.e. the sort order has been lost
3. Click Report Number of one report then Return and the screen attempts to retrieve all reports!


The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, users cannot see correct data when querying reports.
