(Doc ID 2326259.1)
Last updated on MAY 07, 2023
Applies to:
Oracle Order Management - Version 12.1.3 and laterInformation in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
On : 12.1.3 version, Item Usage
ACTUAL BEHAVIOR
---------------
While selecting Ordered Item LOV, it shows both Internal Item and Customer Item
Select Internal Item from LOV,
it shows Customer Item on Ordered Item.
EXPECTED BEHAVIOR
-----------------------
Expect Internal Item to shows in Ordered item after selecting item from LOV
STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Item AB212 is a TRION inventory item # with an item description: 12"X.187 ATTACHED BACK HOOK.
2. Item AB212 is also setup in Customer item cross reference AS THE CUSTOMER ITEM #
and linked to Trion item # AB212-100 with a CUSTOMER item description: AB212 – XREF ITEM – CUSTOMER ITEM.
3. A sales order is being created for customer GERSHEL (the customer used in Cross Reference above).
On the sales order line … when entering field “Ordered Item” as AB212
and tabbing out of the field, the ITEMS LOV displays.
AB212 appears twice in the LOV but clearly one item is the TRION inventory item # and the other is the CUSTOMER item #.
The needed AB212 item is the TRION internal item highlighted above and linked to Internal Item AB212.
When this record is selected from the ITEM LOV, the Ordered Item field on the sales order displays AB212-50.
I expected AB212 to display on the sales order line.
